Paul Salazar is the manager and owner of Auto Express Tire Pros and has worked there for 24 years. He is originally from San Francisco where he went to high school and took an auto shop course. He likes being his own boss, and helping people with their second largest investment. When Paul is not working he enjoys testing out high performance vehicles such as the Mercedes AMG, attending car shows and watching NASCAR races.

Rick has been a technician for Auto Express Tire Pros for the last 19 years. He enjoys the family and team atmosphere that he and his co-workers have built with one another. There is always something new for Rick to learn and there are many opportunities to adapt his skills and talents in this business. When Rick is not at Auto Express, he is either checking out the local car clubs or playing the drums, preferably rockabilly music.

Tomas Serrano had his start working at his brother’s mechanic shop in Mexico at the age of twelve, and has been a technician at Auto Express Tire Pros for fourteen years. He says, “everyone at the shop is like a family; everyone respects one another despite differences.” When Tomas is not working at Auto Express he is a minister. Every once in a while he is asked to bless clients and, he is happy to do it. A few years ago Auto Express was going through a rough patch and no cars were showing up, Tomas and a few of his teammates joined in prayer and about 15 minutes later, there were so many cars in line that everyone had to take a late lunch. Thomas feels blessed, and likes serving God, and giving clients the best service possible.

Pat DeSalvo has been working at Auto Express Tire Pros on-and-off since the shop first opened 24 years ago. He grew up in the Bronx, New York helping at his family’s gas station and in 1977 moved to California, where he took courses and worked at different service stations. Paul is part of the recovery community where he has been doing Hospital and Institution service in jails for the last ten years. When Pat is not working or doing service he likes taking his boat and goes fishing or takes cruises to places like the Caribbean, Spain, and the Mexican Riviera.
